Thank you for donating and registering for our Online Day of Yoga!
I am very moved by the positive responses I have had from teachers and clients. I feel that this event on 6th March marks a point in time where we get to change how yoga is perceived by the general public. There are, tantalisingly a plethora of practices within the umbrella of Yoga which these talented, empathic and skilled practitioners seek to explore and contribute.
These professional and talented practitioners are specialising in the areas of yoga not always at the forefront of the yoga we experience in classes, or lately on the screen.
Incredibly rich and effective, these practices and disciplines have been studied for centuries, the asana practices are a great step to get us to this point, and are infinitely valuable when led by skilled teachers and guides, but these avenues of yoga give us a taste of the jewels of Yoga.
I want to extend to attendees & newcomers an introduction to some of the teachers who have had a big impact on my own Yoga life, and I am delighted that some of them are joining me on our Open Day, it is a great privilege to have these awe inspiring people share this day.
The intent is not just to help us all come out of a difficult winter and enter Spring...well... with a spring in our step! but also to think more long term too, to have these valuable teachers in our peripheral worlds to guide us and help us on our collective spiritual journeys.
And a renewed curiosity into what we can achieve for ourselves and others through our practice.
